What research data can I store in Marvin?

Learn how Marvin lets you easily collect active and passive research in one place

Updated over a week ago

With Marvin, you can build an effective repository as it supports all types of research data and helps you gather it too.

Record and import user interviews and focus groups, usability tests, reports, surveys, support tickets and lots more.

Primary research

Marvin was built to help you record user interviews and store important conversations in all formats. Here are some of the ways in which you can gather your primary research in Marvin:

Active data

  1. Record video calls on Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams with the bot

  2. Record phone calls. Dial in to the call to record the audio and take Live Notes.

  3. Take notes for in-person meetings

  4. Import usability tests from User Testing

Marvin's AI can help you analyze this user feedback to gain insights across research projects.

Passive data

1. Import survey data from Pendo, Qaultrics, SurveyMonkey, Google Forms, Dscout, and CSV files. Extract participant details, metadata and open-ended responses. Use Ask AI to analyze and derive insights

2. Pull in support tickets from Zendesk and Intercom into your projects to extract insights from user queries and complaints.

3. Import sales calls from Gong

Secondary research

Upload research reports, graphs, presentations and more to your projects. Marvin supports PDFs, PPTs, text documents and images (JPG and PNG). Ask AI can analyze all these documents, including images, and combine it with the rest of your research.
