You'll find different search bars on the homepage and in your projects in Marvin. Use them to quickly search for projects, files and notes.
Home page
On the Marvin home page, you’ll find two search bars.
Use the 'Search repository' bar to search for any information across any project in your repository. Marvin will show search results across all projects when the toggle button is set to the magnifying glass.
You can choose to search specifically among Files, Notes and Insights by using the filters that appear when you start typing in the search bar.
Tip: If you toggle the magnifying glass button, it’ll switch to Ask AI mode. This will use AI to return results across the repository based on what you type.
Use the 'Search projects' bar to look for a specific project by name. Click on any project to explore the files within.
Within 'Files' in 'Projects'
Inside a project, you will see two search bars. You can use the “Search file” bar to search for a specific file in that project by name.
Type in the 'Search in project' bar to search across files, notes and Insights in that project. You can also use Ask AI from the same search bar by clicking on the toggle button.
Within 'Analysis' in 'Projects'
You’ll see two search bars on the Analyze page.
Use the ‘Search notes’ bar to search for specific notes within that project.
The 'Search in project' bar is common to the Files and Analysis sections in a project and works the same way across Marvin.
Within 'Cross project analysis'
You’ll find two search bars in Cross project analysis.
Go to the 'Search notes' bar to search for specific notes across projects in your Marvin repository.
The 'Search repository' bar is common to the home page and 'Cross project analysis', and works the same way across Marvin.
