If you are a Viewer on Marvin, welcome to a streamlined view of the product. This helps you focus on the research findings and analysis of projects.
Read on to explore how to make the most of your Viewer account.
Discover Research
When you login, you'll be in Discover Research mode by default. This view helps you focus on surfacing customer knowledge and using Ask AI to answer your research questions.
Search and Ask AI
To search for documents and reports, type in the search bar at the top of the page.
The kind of data you can surface depends on the settings Admins have selected for your team. You'll always be able to surface published Insights (research reports), shared Insights, and Playlists in projects shared with you. If an Admin has enabled access, you can also search for notes, files, interviews, etc., within projects shared with you.
You can also directly type in a question you want to answer with the data. Marvin will search for relevant data across the projects shared with you to answer your question.
For example, you can ask, "What do users say about our customer support?"
Under the search bar, you'll see three tabs: Team's Insights, Marvin Insights, and Live Streams
Team's Insights
Here you can access all the published and publicly shared Insights or reports created by all members in your team
Marvin Insights
You can use Marvin's AI to track topics and keywords across projects to which you have access. Marvin will collate the information and automatically create reports each week. You can read them on Marvin or have them delivered in Slack — to a channel or your personal DM. Learn how you can set up your Marvin Insights.
Live Streams
Select the Live Streams tab to view calls that are being telecast, from a backroom. You can join and leave the telecast without disturbing participants and even chat with the interviewer and other viewers. Learn more about telecasts in our help center article.
Projects
To explore files within projects, click Projects at the top of the page.
The Projects tab lists all the projects and project groups to which you have access. You will not see project groups and projects to which you don't have access.
You will also not see filters and projects to which you don't have access in filter and dropdown menus across Marvin.
Inside a project, you have access to Files, Insights, and Playlists.
In the Files tab, you can access the call recordings and documents associated with this project.
Select the Insights tab to read public and shared reports created by anyone in the project. You will not have access to Insights that other teammates have chosen to keep private.
Head to the Playlists tab to view collections of clips. Teammates may have created the playlists by stitching together clips across different files and interviews.
