If you are a Viewer on Marvin, welcome to a streamlined view of the product compared with Note Takers, Contributors and Admins. This helps you focus on the research findings and analysis of projects.
Read on to explore all the features in your Viewer account. You’ll also see how your account differs from a Note Taker, Contributor or Admin.
When you login, you'll be in Discover Mode by default. This view helps you focus only on finding research and using AI to analyze data, insights and lots more.
To explore files within projects, click on the account drop down menu on the top right and select "Open in edit mode".
In edit mode, the navigation menu will show you “Home (the projects page),” “Discover Research” and “More.” Admins have a few extra options to adjust settings on projects.
The home page lists all the projects and project groups you have access to. You will not see project groups and projects that contain no files.
We have also hidden groups and projects that contain no files from filters and dropdown menus across Marvin.
Inside a project, you have access to “Files,” “Analyze,” “Insights & Playlists” and “Project Overview.” Admins can choose to limit viewers to just Insights and Analysis. If you can’t view "Files", "Notes" and "Project Overview", please reach out to an Admin.
When you select “Files”, you can access the call recordings and documents associated with this project.
"Analyze" will show you all notes, graphs and boards in the project. You can search, group and filter them. Toggle to Ask AI in the search bar to run AI analysis on the notes.
Within the project, click “Insights & Playlists” to open all Insights and view Playlists.
You can also check the project overview to understand the objective, scope, hypothesis and other details your team members have written for the project.
On the Discover Research page, you can watch telecast calls and view Insights across projects.
Research areas that have no associated Insights are not visible.
Admins can choose whether everyone can search all published Insights & Playlists, even if they don’t have access to the corresponding project.
