You can add Marvin as a verified MCP connector in Figma Make to bring customer insights directly into creative workflows. This connector is available to all users on Enterprise plans: Admins, Contributors, Collaborators, and Viewers. Currently, guest/temporary users cannot connect to Figma Make via MCP. We're working to enable this for guest/temporary users too.
When you connect Marvin to Figma Make via the Modern Context Protocol, you can use the available tools to:

Once you set up the connection, you can access Marvin files directly in Figma Make, which automatically incorporates your customer feedback into designs.
From Figma Make, you can ask questions about a specific pain point, user need or customer feedback on a topic. Marvin's AI scans the data to which you have access in the repository to surface patterns, themes, and insights. Answers will include in-line citations that link directly to the file or published insight in Marvin.
With this information, you can validate your designs and prototypes without leaving Figma Make.
Who can connect to Marvin's MCP Server?
All users on Enterprise plans can individually connect their tools to Marvin.
However, Admins may choose to disable this for their Marvin team. In case you're unable to connect, please contact your team Admin(s).
Admins can manage this from Settings > Developer > Enable MCP
Marvin authorizes the login for each user through OAuth.
How do I connect my Figma account to Marvin’s MCP server?
From the chat box, click + and select Add context.
Select Connectors.
Search for Marvin and click Add next.
Accept the OAuth authorization request
If you're connecting from the desktop app, you may be redirected to complete authorization on the browser. Once it's complete, please return to the app to continue setup.
Once connected, click Add context to confirm that Marvin appears in the list.
Configure the available tools based on your preferences.
Note: Marvin Admins have an option to disable MCP connections. In case you're unable to connect, please reach out to your team Admin(s).
How do I access research from Marvin in Figma Make?
In the chat box, type @Marvin, followed by your question to find relevant research. For example,

You’ll see insights and answers based on the research that is shared with you in Marvin. Admins can manage these permissions from Marvin.
Best practices to surface insights in Figma Make
The data and insights you see in Figma Make will depend on how the two tools speak to each other. You can give Figma the right context to surface customer knowledge that is most relevant to your question.
We recommend you mention as many filters or parameters to help Figma find the right data in Marvin. You could mention the time period, project name, file name, customer, plan, segment, file tag, label, etc. to narrow down your search.
For example, you could ask, “What features did new users request in 2026? Search across Project X”. Or “List the workflows and jobs mentioned most often by product teams in EU-based companies between June and November 2025.”
If you are searching for specific files, include the word “search” in your prompt. For example, “Search for the 5 most recent sales calls in the Demo folder”.
If you would prefer to receive results as an Ask AI answer analyzed by Marvin, specify that Figma should run an Ask AI query.
Similarly, you can also ask Figma to summarize files and reports on Marvin.
How do I verify the insights from Marvin?
Responses in Figma Make will include clickable citations. The sources will appear as inline links, like [link to insight] or [link to transcript]. If you click on the links, you'll be taken to that file or published report in Marvin.
