For each answer, Claude will specify the tools it uses.
This is what an answer collated from Marvin will look like.
Best practices to write prompts in Claude to pull the right insights from Marvin
The data and insights you see in Claude will depend on how the two tools speak to each other. You can give Claude the right context to surface customer knowledge that is most relevant to your question.
We recommend you mention as many filters or parameters to help Claude find the right data in Marvin. You could mention the time period, project name, file name, customer, plan, segment, file tag, label, etc. to narrow down your search.
For example, you could ask, “How many Enterprise users did we onboard in 2025?”. Or “List the workflows and jobs mentioned most often by product teams in EU-based companies in the last 6 months.”
If you are searching for specific files, include the word “search” in your prompt. For example, “Search for the 5 most recent sales calls in the Demo folder”.
If you would prefer to receive results as an Ask AI answer analyzed by Marvin, specify that Claude should run an Ask AI query.
Similarly, you can also ask Claude to summarize files and reports on Marvin, wherein it will use the get_file_summary tool to pull context from Marvin.
