Access to data

All permissions and access in Marvin transfer over to ChatGPT. You only see insights and answers based on the research that is shared with you in Marvin. Admins need to manage permissions in Marvin to decide which research should be accessible to everyone and which confidential data to safeguard.

Best practices to write prompts in ChatGPT to pull the right insights from Marvin

We recommend you specifically mention the project and file names you want ChatGPT to refer to while surfacing insights.

The more filters or parameters you add, the easier it will be for ChatGPT to find the right data in Marvin. You could include a time period, recency, file tags, and labels used on Marvin, etc.

For example, you could ask, “Summarize the last five files from Expert Series webinars?”. Or “List the workflows and jobs mentioned most often by product teams in EU-based companies in the last 6 months.”

If you are searching for specific files, include the word “search” in your prompt. For example, “Search for the 5 most recent sales calls in the Demo folder”.

If you would prefer to receive answers in the Ask AI format on Marvin, specify that ChatGPT should run an Ask AI query.

Similarly, you can also specify that it summarizes files and reports on Marvin.
