Record and use Live notes on phone calls

Updated over a week ago

Marvin’s notetaking skills aren’t restricted to audio and video calls on conferencing platforms. You can record and take notes for phone calls as well. Record telephonic sales calls, customer interactions and research interviews to your repository with the help of our dial-in option.

How do I record phone calls?

Navigate to the project where you want to add a call. Under “Add new files”, select “Record a phone call”.

You’ll see a dial pad on the screen. Use it to call an individual’s phone number or the dial-in numbers for a conference call, such as on Zoom.

Just make sure you use the right country code. Change it from the drop down menu. Click the call button once you’re ready.

Marvin will request access to your device mic to record the call. Grant the permission to continue.

When the call connects, you’ll see an option to “Take Notes”. This will open the Live Notes page.

Use the discussion guide, add labels, create auto notes and more, just as you would for any other call.

You’ll have an option to access the dialpad and mute yourself during the call as well. End the call once the meeting is over so Marvin can process the call and add the file to your project.
