Edit an interview transcript
Updated this week

Transcripts in Marvin can be edited directly by opening the transcript page and selecting the section you want to edit. Users can make changes, corrections, and adjust speaker information as necessary. Additionally, participants' demographic information can also be added to provide context.

If it's only a one-time error, you can follow the steps:

  1. Move your cursor to the end of the mistaken word

  2. Click backspace to erase

  3. Type in the correct word

If it's a repeated error, you can follow the steps:

  1. Type in the wrong word or mistaken word on the transcript search bar

  2. Click "Replace"

  3. Type in the correct word. You have the option to replace all or replace word by word.

If there are issues with transcription accuracy, you can also change the accent settings to improve the auto-transcription accuracy. Just go to the language dropdown list and choose a new language. The transcript will be automatically re-transcribed leaving your notes untouched.
