Find and attach labels to notes
Marvin can help you match relevant labels in your project to existing notes. With this feature, you can label thousands of notes in one go.
As you label more quickly, comprehensively, and consistently, you effectively keep categorising data into themes you’re tracking through labels. This will help you analyze and surface data more easily with Ask AI and Deep Research.
How do I match labels to notes?
You’ll find this feature under “More AI options” in the Analyze tab of each project.
Select the labels for which you want to find notes. By default, Marvin will scan all the notes in the project. You may also select specific notes and then run this to find labels for a smaller data set.
Marvin will scan all types of notes, whether they were AI-generated or created manually. It will consider child and parent labels while suggesting them.
Once you have the results, check all the notes Marvin has suggested for each label. Select all or just the ones you find apt, and click “Add Labels to Notes”.
If Marvin suggests multiple labels for a single note, you’ll see the same note in multiple label tabs.
Improve accuracy of finding labels
The following tips are not mandatory. You’ll still get accurate results if you skip these steps.
Label Descriptions
To improve the accuracy with which Marvin finds the right labels for your notes, you can add descriptions for each label.
Label Names
Make sure the nomenclature for labels is indicative of the theme you’re tracking. For example, avoid labels such as Label 1, Label 2, Label 3.
