The features of different roles on Marvin

Our four user roles are designed to help everyone in your organization use Marvin and leverage customer knowledge.

Here are the key features of each role:

  • Admin manage teams, users, projects, templates + everything a Contributor can do. Usually best for research ops and researchers.

  • Contributors can conduct interviews, organize data, analyze & share data + everything a Collaborator can do. Best for users who want to analyze data but don't need to manage team access and settings.

  • Collaborators can bring data into Marvin by importing, uploading, or integrating with other tools. They can also make notes on files and during live streams. Designed for PMs, designers, and any role that wants to run Ask AI on customer knowlegde.

  • Viewers can search and surface insights across all of your team's research. Incredibly powerful for stakeholders and anyone who wants to use customer understanding to guide their projects.
