Marvin transcribes each recording according to the language you select in project settings. If you choose multiple languages, it will auto detect the language that has been used for the call.
To change your project language, navigate to project settings and locate the transcript tab. This will apply to all new files in the project.
Translate transcripts
You can translate a recording into the language you want to work on. Click “Transcript” and choose “Translate transcript”.
Select the language to which you want to translate the transcript and subtitles.
Your notes will stay intact, in the language in which they were created.
You’ll find the option to translate in “All actions” as well.
Revert to the original language
You can revert the transcript and subtitles to the original language at any point. You'll find this option under "Transcript" as well.
Regenerate transcript
You may also choose to regenerate the transcript in another language. We recommend that you first any industry-specific terms or acronyms used in the call and project in the project settings. This will help Marvin transcribe better.
Translate notes
You can temporarily translate notes, both from the Annotation tool and on the Analyze page.
When you refresh or close the page, the note reverts to the original language.
