How to create a playlist

Easily combine multiple clips from across calls to create a collection of key insights

Updated over a week ago

What is a Playlist?

Every time you make a note, Marvin automatically creates a shareable clip of that moment.

You can share clips one at a time — or you can stitch the clips together to make a playlist. This way you have a collection of key moments in one video. All the clips need not be from the same call. You can combine clips across multiple recordings,

There are a couple of ways to create a Playlist.

1. Add a note to a Playlist

Go to the note you want to add to the Playlist. Click the three dots and select 'Add to Playlist'. Make a new note in case you haven’t annotated the part of the call that you want in your Playlist.

Choose whether you want to create a new playlist or add it to an existing Playlist in the project.

2. Create playlist of all notes on a call

In case you want to make a Playlist from notes on just one call, there’s an easy way to do it.

You’ll find an option in the top toolbar on the Annotation tool to create a playlist of all the notes on the call.

When you click 'Create playlist', Marvin will combine all the clips from the notes on that call into one Playlist.

How do I view Playlists?

To view Playlists, go to the 'Insights and Playlists' tab in your project.

Your teammates and stakeholders don't need a Marvin license to watch playlists. All you need to do is share the link with them.*

* Admins need to turn on 'Team’s content can be viewed by anyone with the link' under 'Data privacy' in 'Team settings' for people without a Marvin license to watch Playlists.

That’s it! You’re ready to share your research as Playlists.
