The search functionality in Marvin includes two distinct search bars: the "search notes" bar and the "search repository" bar.
- Search Notes:
- The search notes bar does exactly what it sounds like — it searches across only notes, so you can quickly find individual notes. Once you find the note you need, you can easily create playlists, conduct AI analysis or other research tasks. This search bar focuses on rapid note retrieval, facilitating quick access and understanding of all your notes for efficient workflow management.
- Search Repository:
- The search repository bar offers a comprehensive and holistic search experience, search through multiple content types across the entire repository, such as transcripts, documents, notes, files, and insights. You can use various filters and labels to refine search results. Featuring advanced keyword search and AI-driven capabilities, this search bar can help you generate detailed reports and summaries. It’s designed to handle complex queries and provide synthesized responses with citations back to relevant documents, so you can trust the results you receive.
Overall, the "search notes" bar is more specialized, and the "search repository" bar offers a more extensive search across all stored data you have access to in Marvin.
