Create Asana tasks from Marvin

You can convert any note in Marvin into a task in Asana. You can do this from wherever you are viewing your note— the Annotation tool, the Analyze tab or the Cross project analysis tab.

Just click on the three dots on the note and select ‘Export to Asana’ from the menu.

You’ll see a window to add details about the task you want to create.

Fill out all the details to proceed

  1. Project name: Select the project in Asana

  2. Under: Choose the subsection to which you want to add the task

  3. Assignee: You can assign the task to a teammate

  4. Task name: Give your task a name

Click ‘Create Task’ to confirm the details. You’ll see a confirmation message in Marvin ‘Task successfully generated in Asana’.

You can now view and edit the task in your project in Asana.
