How to filter by labels and questions
Updated this week

Tagging your notes by labels and questions has the added benefit of setting you up for easy analysis when it’s time.

Once you’re in the Analyze section, you have many options for grouping your data. Let’s start by clicking on Labels.

Choose a label to drill down further and see a brand-new view of the user interviews. You can add additional context to your notes, and you can explore transcripts for even more detail. If you find something interesting to share with your team, you can create a highlight really easily. Click a few of the notes, and create a new playlist.

You can also filter by research questions. You’ll be able to browse through all the questions you asked during your interview and see all the responses to each question underneath in one clear view. You can now see all the user feedback without having to manually add to a spreadsheet. Marvin automates these groupings because you have all of your notes already in our system.

If you love your spreadsheet views, we give you the option to change the view. And of course, you can easily share these findings as well by creating another playlist.

Your teammates and stakeholders don't need a Marvin license to view these videos and elevate the voice of the customer. You can post it on Slack or send an email. Now everyone can be a part of the user research process!
