Pods help you organize your team to make sharing easier

Updated over a week ago

Why you should use Pods for your team

Use Pods to create smaller groups or sub-teams within your Marvin team. You can use it organize your team members and share projects with specific groups. For example, you might find it handy to create Pods for Sales, Marketing, GTM, Product, Design, etc.

Your team can have multiple Pods. One user can belong to multiple Pods.

Create a new pod

Head over to ‘Team’ in the navigation menu.

Click ‘New pod’ and give it a name.

The new Pod will show up in the list of pods. The number in brackets next to each Pod name indicates how many members belong to it.

Add users to your pod

Go to ‘Search team member’ and search for a person you want to add to the new Pod.

Click ‘Add/remove Pod’ next to their role to add them to a Pod. Click outside the Pod list window to confirm. You can also remove someone from a Pod from here.

When you remove someone from a pod, they automatically lose access to projects shared with that pod.

Share projects with your pod

You can easily share projects with your pod from the home page. This is where you will see all your projects.

  • Click the Share project icon.

  • Type the Pod name in the search bar.

  • Click 'Share.'

  • Choose whether to notify Pod members via email about the project share.

Just click 'Unshare' if you want to remove a Pod's access to a project.

Rename or Delete a pod

In 'Team', click on the pod you want to select. You'll see three dots against the pod name. When you click on them, you'll see an option to rename and delete.

When you delete a Pod, you won't remove the members from your team. They'll simply no longer be part of that specific Pod.
