Use Canvas Boards to better organize & analyze your research

The canvas boards in Marvin can significantly streamline your qualitative research process, making it easier to organize and analyze your data via affinity mapping. It's particularly useful for making sense of user feedback, research findings, or brainstorming ideas.

Each canvas can handle up to 500 notes at once.

  1. To access the canvas board, navigate to your project, then click the Analyze tab on the left-hand menu.

  1. From here, you will find three tabs: Notes (current page), Graphs, and Boards.

    1. Click on the Boards tab.

  1. Click Create new Canvas board

  1. The canvas board will let you bring in different notes. Filter for specific notes, and then place them on the canvas board for affinity mapping or other visual analysis techniques.

    1. Move your nates to better visualize the data

    2. Search through the filters to add more content to the data
