Import videos from UserTesting

Add sessions from UserTesting data to Marvin projects

Updated today

With our UserTesting integration, you can import video sessions into Marvin projects.

To begin, you need to add Marvin as a contributor to your UserTesting workspace. You'll only have to do it the first time you import. Marvin will remember the details for next time.

If you are based outside the EU, please invite [email protected] to be a contributor to your UserTesting workspace.

Testing. Once done, you can start importing sessions into Marvin.

Add UserTesting sessions to a project

Please note that Marvin only supports import of video sessions from UserTesting. At the moment, you can’t import surveys from UserTesting.

To begin, navigate to “Files” in your project.

Select “Add new files” and choose UserTesting under “Import files”.

Enter the link where the sessions are stored on UserTesting. Make sure that you paste the link to a study, rather than any individual session.

To locate the link to a study:

  1. Open the relevant folder in the left navigation menu.

  2. Click the three dots on any test.

3. Select “Share”.

4. And then select “Copy link”.

Alternatively, you can

  1. Navigate to “Tests” in the left navigation panel.

  2. Click the three dots on one of the tests.

  3. Select “Share”.

  4. And then select “Copy link”.

To make sure you have the right type of link, make sure it's in this format:

Select the sessions and click “Import”.

You’ll see a confirmation on your screen once the files are successfully imported. The data will be available in “Files” in the project.
