Why does Marvin cite each source in AI-generated results?
Marvin’s AI was built to make your research easier, better and more in-depth. While we created multiple checks to make AI-generated results accurate, we recommend that you always verify all information before including it in reports or using it for business decisions. This includes Ask AI queries, cross-project analysis, results on the Discover research page, call summaries and auto notes.
How do I verify responses by Marvin’s AI?
To help you verify information easily, Marvin cites each source used to generate the result. You can use this to quickly pinpoint the exact file in your research repository.
For example, when you ask a question in Ask AI, you’ll see a number at the end of each sentence to mark the citation.
Click on any number to see the file name, project and date. You’ll see the exact information Marvin used to create an answer. Click “Open file” to access the recording or document.
The sources will be mentioned at the end of the answer too.
You can choose to see a list of all sources. When you click “See all”, they’ll be listed in a panel on the left. You can read the summary and go to the file too.
On the Discover research page too, you’ll be able to check the sources for each answer. The format will vary by the document you focus on.
You can read the summary of the document when you search within files.
For transcripts and documents, you can read the actual quote used in the answer.
Checking the source can uncover more insights and ways of evaluating your data too.
