Project Groups

Project groups are used to tag a project on Marvin. Project groups can be used to:

  • Organize your projects into groups

  • Filter by project on Search or Cross-Project Analysis

Project groups will be visible to everyone on your team. Project group allows 2-level hierarchy.

File Tags

File tags are used to tag a file or an insight on Marvin. File tags can be used to:

  • Organize your files or insights under one project

  • Filter by file on Search, Cross-Project Analysis or Ask AI

File Tags can be set as either Template or Project-only.

Participants

Participants are used to tag an interview video, audio or a survey response. Tagging a participant can be helpful for:

  • Manage panels under All Participants

  • Filter by participant on Search, Cross-project Analysis

Participants can be accessed by Team Admins or Contributors depending on Team Settings.

Research Areas

Research areas are used to tag an insight. Research areas are used to organize your Discover Research hub to make it easier for viewers to find what they need.

Research areas are visible to all team members.

Labels

Participants are used to tag a note. Labels can be used to:

  • Analyze & visualize using labels under Graph

  • Filter by label on Search or Cross-Project Analysis

Labels can be set as either Template or Project-only. Labels allow 5-level hierarchy.

Question

Questions are used to tag a note. Questions can be used to:

  • Analyze notes based on discussion guide questions

  • Filter by question on Analyze or Search

Question is Project-only, and you can only add one question per note.
